Rangers Game

Sunday afternoon Greg, Owen and I went to the Rangers game with Mimi & Pops.
(Chloe stayed home with Nana & Papa John)

We had a GREAT time! Below is a pic of Owen and I talking about the Ranger's mascot (the horse named Captain). He LOVES that horse so much! I cannot even express how excited he was to go to the "game" as he calls it. Oh, it was also CJ Wilson glove night (see blue glove below...reminds me of our blue Islanders gloves from college)
Here we are waiting in line to hit the ball off the tee at the kid games in centerfield.
Our 24 month old hitting the snot out of the ball off a tee! So proud of our little slugger!
Eating strawberries and talking about the "horse" with Pops.
Shirtless Owen doing GREAT watching the game.
After the game we stayed to run the bases. (I think I was more excited than both Owen and Greg) Greg ran them with Owen and since we were down on the field like the players, we had to put Owen's Rangers jersey on.
The little light blue dot running to 2nd base is Greg holding Owen.
To the right of the little boys hat is Greg holding Owen's hand as they both run from 2nd to 3rd.
Back in Daddy's arms running to home.

It was so awesome being down on the field! You can feel the energy and excitement of America's pastime on that field! It is incredible and one that I will never forget!!!!

Tiny tots and tunes camp

This week best buds, Owen and Campbell attended a tiny tots and tunes camp at First Baptist Church in Richardson.

Below is a pic after the first day.
They had soooooo much fun...reading books

...playing with the "whole world in our hands"...
...dancing with bells...

...diligently watching the teacher give her instructions...
...tapping the bells on the floor...
...hiding them behind our back...
...tapping sticks on our heads...
...dancing with scarfs....or taking them off Campbells head and playing chase...

...more chase...
Thanks Meg, for telling us about this camp. We had SUCH a good time! Owen has been saying, "Amen" all week. I am so glad our kiddos have become such good friends!!!!

The kiddos

Someone got into Chloe's bows...
...he looks so stinking cute, but Chloe clearly doesn't think it's very funny. LOL!!!!
...back to smiles with her bow on.

My hopes of having a southpaw baseball pitcher are slowly going away. Here is the latest pic of Owen "drawing." Oh well, at least he can play second, short or third now.

Naked Friends

After a successful swimming pool play date, Campbell and Owen enjoyed some goldfish. They are going to KILL us 10 years from now, but I LOVE it!

Thanks Megan for such a wonderful friendship!!!!

Great Grandparents and a dinner party

Monday of this week all four of us headed to Granbury to visit Greg's grandparents, Mama & Papa Owen (Owen's namesake). We had a wonderful time and the kids did GREAT! Owen LOVED playing with Papa's tools in his garage and mowing/weed eating his grass.

Below is a picture of Miss Chloe and Mama on their awesome back porch. So sweet!

Here is a picture of Owen working on their yard. He is so serious!

After going up and down the stairs inside the house, we then headed to the front yard. Here is a picture of Greg and Owen helping Mama pick peaches out of the peach tree. Of course Owen had to bring the hammer he found in their garage.

Great pictures!!!

Here he was telling Papa something really important.

After working really hard in both yards and going up and down the stairs, we needed a drink...

...and a hug. We had such a great time and I wish we lived closer so we could see them everyday! We love y'all Mama and Papa and think about you every day!

I had forgotten to post this picture taken on Mother's day. Here is Miss Chloe and Greg's grandmother Mama Pels.

This last picture was taken tonight in our playroom. We had our good friends over who also have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. The boys had a GREAT time playing together. This picture shows you how much fun! They were sweating and dirt all over their faces! So cute!!!! Thanks Sarah and Caleb for a great evening!!!

Summer!!!!!

It goes without saying that this stay-at-home mom is excited for summer! Why you ask? Our teacher/coach Daddy is HOME for 7 weeks before football starts back up for the fall. YAY!!!!!!! Having Greg home is so wonderful! We are one week into summer and are already having a blast!!!!
Here is a quick recap of summer thus far.....

Rangers game with Daddy, Mimi and Tops (Pops, but Owen calls him Tops). Below is a picture of Tops telling Owen all about the Rangers mascot (the horse). Greg said they talked about the horse for 2 full innings! So cute!

Summer Movie Clubhouse has started and below is a picture of us at Owen and Campbell's first movie!!!!! We signed up for 1 movie a week for the entire summer. Only $1 a movie!!! Yogi Bear was the movie so all week Owen has been saying, "Hey boo boo!"
Heights Baptist Church in Richardson had a FREE beach play day this week. My good friends Megan & Anne went with us with their kiddos. Below is a picture of Owen and Campbell playing.

Playing in his diaper in the backyard.

Chloe hanging out
I actually caught a smile with my camera on my phone
Here is Chloe's serious sleeping face
Our crazy toddler with his Easter egg

Papa John feeding sweet baby Chloe! I LOVE THIS PICTURE! Last week we went to watch my niece, Lauren perform in her elementary school talent show. Here is a picture of the kiddos as we watched the kids perform. This picture is for Kyle (Greg's brother). Now not only is our son a thumb sucker, but he also has found another place for his pointer finger. YIKES!
Sitting in Lauren's lap after she performed.
